On June 22, 2025, Talobeeg Consulting Services, in partnership with the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation (MOPEDIC), officially commenced a five-day Capacity Building Training aimed at enhancing the skills of planning and M&E personnel across Barwaaqo Project line ministries.
The event was inaugurated with keynote remarks from H.E. Daauud Mohamed Omar – the Minister of Planning, affirming the government’s commitment to institutional capacity development as a cornerstone for effective service delivery and sustainable development.
This comprehensive training targets 30 participants from key ministries, including M&E officers, planning personnel, and project focal points. Led by our senior consultant, Joseph Mungai, who brings over 15 years of global experience in results-based management, including a decade with USAID programming, the sessions are designed to:
- Strengthen strategic planning and M&E frameworks
- Introducing user-friendly templates and reporting tools
- Align planning and M&E practices with results-driven public administration
- Foster peer learning and inter-ministerial coordination
This initiative is part of the broader Somalia Water for Rural Resilience (Barwaaqo) Project, supported by the World Bank (Project ID: P177627), which seeks to build institutional resilience and deliver climate-smart infrastructure across Puntland.
We are proud to support Puntland’s development journey through tailored training solutions grounded in evidence and driven by impact.
