Talobeeg

Hirshabelle State has officially wrapped up its Enumerator Training, marking another important step in the journey toward stronger district-level agricultural planning in Somalia. This initiative, led by Talobeeg Consulting Services (TSC) under the Somalia Food Systems Resilience Program, is equipping local teams with the skills needed to gather and analyze data that will shape the future of development in their communities. Participants from within Jowhar, Adan-Yable, Balcad, Adale districts of Middle Shabeelle region and Baletwein, Bulo Burde, Mataban  and Mahas districts of Hiiraan region attended the workshop.

The training emphasized practical, field-based learning, ensuring that enumerators can efficiently collect and interpret critical information. This data will serve as the foundation for well-informed district agriculture investment plans, tailored to local needs and priorities. By strengthening the capacity of local planners, Hirshabelle is taking a proactive role in driving evidence-based decision-making and sustainable growth.

With multiple states now on board, the impact of this program continues to expand. TSC is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation, working closely with stakeholders to build a future where every district has the tools and knowledge to plan effectively.
